Hello, bonjour!
I’m Robyn*, an Australian grant writer and editor based in France.
I partner with organisations and individuals worldwide. After all, changemakers are everywhere.
*that’s me with my husband, Jean-Yves, my partner in life and adventures, like cycling up mountains!
Attentive. Collaborative. Passionate.
Three words that have been used to describe me because I see and understand the big picture but have an eye for detail. I’m motivated when I get to partner with people who I believe are making a positive difference and can amplify their voices. And I get especially fired up by projects that focus on empowering women and girls.
But first, why grant writing?
You can make the most compelling case in the world for a new idea or project, but if it doesn’t follow the funding guidelines or is riddled with mistakes, it can cost you.
I don’t want to see that happen, which is why I’m on a mission to support worthy people and projects by writing and editing proposals that unlock grant funding.
Grant writing and editing is the ‘sweet spot’ where I get to combine my skills and experience with my interests and motivations.
Why the focus on women and girls?
Working with changemakers has reaffirmed my desire to help those helping women and girls in particular because I’m a big believer in levelling the playing field for women indoors and outdoors.
As someone who loves staying active, whether cycling on my road bike, running on mountain trails, or overcoming my fear of heights, I’m a heartfelt advocate for more women and girls to participate in outdoor spaces.
20+ years of experience
After working in professional communications, inside government agencies, for privately owned consultancies, and international corporations, I’ve honed my writing and editing skills and attention to detail.
I’ve worked on business cases, proposals, and grant applications for multi-million-dollar city-shaping projects and community campaigns that significantly impact people’s lives.
Some of my most rewarding projects have been those that positively impact people and places in Australia, England, and Papua New Guinea.
I’d love to add your project to the list!
